Christian Prison Ministries Ireland is a sister organisation to Christian Prison Ministries Scotland. Having felt the call of God to work with ex-prisonners and families to show God's love in a practical way, our chief aim is to provide men, women and young people with a second chance at life through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Offering aftercare and support through our drop-in centres in Belfast and Lurgan, at these centres advice and support will be provided in the following areas:- Housing
- Debt
- Employment opportunities
- Local rehabilitation centres
- Integration into local churches
Co-ordinating the work of C.O.P.E (coalition of prison evangelists) throughout Ireland, showing Gods love to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families in a practical way.
A growing Christian witness within the Criminal Justice system in Ireland Raise a greater awareness among Christians of the needs of those in prison Promoting restorative Justice within the Criminal Justice system through Love, Trust and Compassion Finding accommodation, employment, and giving Support to those coming out of prison. Regular prayer support for prisoners, their families and prison staff. A commitment to evangelism and Discipleship, to see people fulfil their God given destiny, providing through Jesus Christ a genuine second chance at life.
